About the event. A disco for nightclub enthusiasts and partygoers. Party dress code: blue and yellow suits or evening gowns. Celebratory Parade for World Embroidery Day

About the event. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress in Calgary organizes a celebratory parade for World Embroidery Day, celebrated annually on the third Thursday of May. If you have an embroidered shirt, join the parade. At the meeting point, a group photo will be taken in the shape of the map of Ukraine, followed by a procession through the city center.

Breakfast with Polar Bears at the Zoo

About the event. Twice a month, the Calgary Zoo hosts a breakfast event. It's a family-friendly event held before the official opening of the zoo. Visitors have a unique opportunity to visit the wildlife area at dawn. Here, they learn about polar bears, and lucky ones can observe the morning antics of Baffin and Siku. After a 90-minute zoo tour, guests are invited to a buffet with fresh fruits, pancakes, and other treats.

Vadym Krasnooky Concert

About the event. As part of a grand tour across Canada, MAD HEADS band frontman Vadym Krasnookey will visit Calgary. To raise funds for purchasing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the musician will perform live well-known hits ("Nadiya Ye", "A Ya Na Mori", "Dubky", "Pisnya Svitla") and new compositions beloved by many ("Svitlo Vseredyni Nas", "My Ukrayintsi, My Mozhemo Vse" and others).
