Sourdough Wheat Bread Baking Master Class

About event. Ilona Pakholok, owner of the home bakery My_bread.stoty, is conducting a master class on baking sourdough wheat bread. Participants will receive bread, the recipe, and the sourdough starter, and will have the chance to taste the bread right by the stove.
Let me tell you about the master herself. Ilona is from Ivano-Frankivsk and started baking sourdough bread during the quarantine period. She admits that it was a period of trial and error, which allowed her to find the best recipes. To save you the time and effort of long searches and wasted ingredients, as she experienced, she shares all the secrets of baking homemade bread. The master class will take place in a cozy home kitchen atmosphere, so the number of spots is limited.

Self-Presentation Tips for the Canadian Job Market

About event. This workshop focuses on building a successful career in Canada. Speakers include Marina Didok, a certified CELPIP instructor who teaches adults to speak English easily and without stress, and Valeria Glukhova, an employment and adaptation consultant in Canada who helps migrants find their professional niche, boost their self-esteem, and achieve career ambitions.
The workshop consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical, discussing how to properly present yourself in typical situations such as interviews, networking events, and meetings with potential employers.
The second part is all practice. They promise to provide 20 English phrases to confidently start any interview and highlight your strengths to potential employers. Additionally, there will be tips on which skills to emphasize and how to structure achievements.

About event. A party before United Fest in Canmore. Let me remind you that a big festival will be held in the picturesque town of Canmore, located an hour's drive from Calgary, in honor of Ukraine's Independence Day. Though the festival is still three weeks away, you can already feel the festive spirit on Sunday, as the organizers, including UCAN Radio, are throwing a United Fest Pre Party. There will be performances by Skazhena Konyaka Band with covers of famous songs and stand-up comedy.
